These terms govern the use of the AI-Driven Journal of Interdisciplinary Social Research (AI-JISR) website (aijisr.org). By using the site you accept them. Last updated: 4 October 2026.

1. The journal and its scope

AI-JISR is an open-access, peer-reviewed academic journal in the social sciences. Its editorial process uses AI agents at the assistant-editor, field-editor and reviewer stages; the final publication decision is always made by the human chief editor. Details are given in the Publication Policies pages, which form part of these terms.

2. Open access and content licence

  • Reading, downloading and sharing published articles is free; no subscription or registration is needed.
  • Unless stated otherwise, articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) licence: you may share and adapt them provided you give appropriate credit to the journal and the author.
  • Authors keep their copyright and grant the journal the right needed for the first publication of the work.
  • The site's design, name and logo belong to the journal and may not be used commercially without permission.

3. Accounts and user responsibilities

  • You must give accurate, up-to-date information when registering and may not open an account on someone else's behalf.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for actions taken through your account; report any unauthorised use to the editorial office at once.
  • Accounts may be suspended or closed without notice if these terms or publication ethics are breached.

4. Terms for authors

  • Submissions must be original, not previously published and not under evaluation elsewhere.
  • Authors must follow the publication ethics principles, the duty to disclose AI use and the similarity limit (at most 15%, references excluded).
  • No fee is charged at any stage of submission, evaluation or publication.
  • The scientific, ethical and legal responsibility for a manuscript rests with its authors.
  • If an ethics violation is found, the journal may stop the evaluation, reject the manuscript, or issue a correction, an expression of concern or a retraction for a published work.

5. About AI-assisted evaluation

Reports produced by AI agents are decision support, not final decisions. All outputs are logged and supervised by the chief editor. Submission files are kept confidential and processed only within the editorial process (see the Privacy Policy).

6. Prohibited uses

  • Any action that harms or disrupts the site, the server or other users, or that attempts unauthorised access.
  • Creating fake accounts, or registering or submitting with automated tools.
  • Attempts to mislead the evaluation process or the AI agents, for example hidden instructions, invisible text or steering phrases placed in a manuscript file.
  • Collecting or sharing other people's confidential information (submission files, review reports, personal data) without permission.
  • Uploading content that breaches applicable law.

7. Limitation of liability

Information on the site is for academic and informational purposes. Views expressed in published articles are the authors' own and do not necessarily reflect those of the journal. Uninterrupted, error-free operation of the site is not guaranteed; access may be interrupted temporarily by maintenance, technical faults or problems in third-party services. To the extent permitted by law, the journal is not liable for indirect damage arising from such interruptions.

8. Changes

We may update these terms when needed. The current version is published on this page and applies from the moment of publication. For cookies see the Cookie Policy.
